There are at least 16 different versions of "The Great Flood" from different cultures in ancient times. The "Epic of Gilgamesh" from 1,500 B.C. is considered to be the most complete version while Noah's version in the Bible is the most accepted and well known version. Next there is the Sumerian Version from 2,300 B.C. It was written when the Sumerian culture was already 1,000 years old while their records of their ancestors go back 435,000 years.
